I used to have a website that was nothing but a steadily growing list of things I hate, called oddly enough “Things Jody Hates”. After a while I took the site down though, because I figured maybe I shouldn’t be so negative all the time. So I have been trying (kinda) to be less negativeish (maybe). But that hasn’t stopped me from hating things.
So, let’s end the year with the top ten things I hated in 2009
10 - Duff Goldman
9 - my neighborhood
8 - Smash Mouth
7 - the Spin Doctors
6 - Work
5 - “Adia” by Sarah McLachlan
4 - Old Navy commercials
3 - Being tailgated
2 - Driving/traffic in general
1 - This fucking guy
I am also not playing the second quest of Zelda 1, nor am I going to play Ocarina of Time Master Quest. However if I finish up Spirit Tracks before next December, I might give both of those second quests a shot. Also I am trying to figure out what order I should play Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons in, since they came out on the same day. I think I’ll start with Ages, since it’s first alphabetically.
Instead of waiting until the first, I started today (12/27/09). Goal is to have all of the games finished by midnight on 12/26/2010. Started with Zelda 1 today, and finished it as well. Moving on to Zelda II!
I want to take a year off from buying games and spend all of the grand 2010 playing through (most of) the Legend of Zelda series. Can I do it? Scheduled as follows:
Legend of Zelda - Jan
Zelda II - Jan
Link to the Past - Feb
Link’s Awakening - Feb
Ocarina of Time - Mar
Majora’s Mask - Apr
Oracle of Ages - May
Oracle of Seasons - June
Wind Waker - July
Four Swords Adventures - Aug
Minish Cap - Sep
Twilight Princess - Oct
Phantom Hourglass - Nov
Spirit Tracks - Dec
Skipping out on the CDi games (which don’t count) and the game and watch games. Also skipping out on re-releases (although I will play Link’s Awakening DX instead of the standard version). Also skipping out on Four Swords for GBA (as it’s multiplayer only), but still going to play Four Swords Adventures on GameCube. NES, SNES, and N64 games will all be played on the Wii virtual console. Good luck, me!
